13th Nov 2019Bradstow took part in Shakespeare Schools Festival by performing King Lear at the Theatre Royal in Margate on Wednesday 13th November.
Our young people and staffed worked very hard over a period of weeks to learn lines, rehearse and organise costumes. This has been a wonderful experience for everyone to work together as a team and gain the confidence to perform in front of each other and on the stage!
Ross Power has worked with some of our young people to produce music included in the production. He collated voices, singing and young people playing musical instruments to blend them together for an amazing piece of soundtrack. We are very grateful to Lydia Wilson and Alun Armstrong for specially recording for us two of the soliloquies.
