Safeguarding Overview

At Bradstow school, we work with our staff, pupils and their families as well as outside agencies to ensure that all children are happy, safe and supported.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children means:

  • Providing help and support to meet the needs of children as soon as problems emerge
  • Protecting children from maltreatment whether that is within or outside the home, including online
  • Preventing impairment of children’s mental and physical health or development
  • Ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care
  • Taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes

Safeguarding and child protection is everyone’s responsibility.

Therefore if you have any concerns, queries or questions in regards to any child, or you require any support or advice, please do not hesitate to contact the school by phone, in person or via the contact form below.
