Friends of Bradstow /Fundraising

The Friends of Bradstow School charity was set up to support the work of Bradstow School and to give a specific platform for fundraising for facilities for our children and young people.

The Friends of Bradstow committee is made up of:

  • Chairperson : Mike Kemlo
  • Deputy Chairperson :
  • Treasurer : Sally Casey
  • Secretary : Gill Hogg
  • Trustee : Faye Dunbar
  • Trustee : Julia Evans
  • Trustee : Julie Breach
  • Trustee : Amy Lees
  • Trustee : Tara Gray
  • Trustee : vacancy
  • Trustee : Sarah Dunn (Headteacher)
  • Trustee : Andre Haynes

There are many occasions when the school is applying for funding/awards when it is required to apply through its Friends of Bradstow School charitable status

In addition, funding bodies like to see evidence that schools and applicants are themselves proactive in raising funds towards identified projects.

Money raised through summer fairs, raffles, Folk Week and any other fund raising initiative is paid into the Friends of Bradstow Fund.

The Social Committee

There is also currently a sub-committee of The Friends consisting of school staff members who organise social events at the school.  This is led by Julie Breach, Gill Hogg and Julia Evans.  This is called The Social Committee and this group organise events such as the Summer Fair, staff quizzes etc. to raise money for The Friends.

The Friends

It has been now agreed that there should be a second sub-committee of The Friends for parents, carers and families.

There are two ways you can donate money to the Friends of Bradstow charity:

1. Easyfundraising.org.uk

I'm helping Friends of Bradstow School - Broadstairs to raise money whenever I shop online - could you do the same?

It's very simple - just visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/bradstowschool/ to register and shop with over 2000 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay and many more. Whenever I buy something, the retailer makes a donation to Friends of Bradstow School - Broadstairs.

They've helped other causes raise over £2,000,000 so it really does work.

I'd be really grateful if you could use easyfundraising too. It won't cost you a penny extra to shop through easyfundraising and you can even save money with special offers and voucher codes.

So please make a difference to Friends of Bradstow School - Broadstairs and take a look at easyfundraising today - http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/bradstowschool/
