Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland just a few hundred metres from the sandy beaches of Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.

£15,238 – 15,507 plus 10% per annum - 41 hours per week, (including weekends) – Term time only, plus 2 weeks*

As part of the childcare team, this role involves providing care and support to young people in the residential home. For this role candidates are required to have some experience of care work.

Team Support Worker - Residential Care - Job Description
 

TEAM SUPPORT WORKERS – Education

£13,936 – £14,182 per annum - 37.5 hours per week (8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday), Term time only, plus 2 weeks*

These roles involve being responsible for assisting teachers in a classroom setting. Experience in this field is desirable.

£11,752 - £12,085 plus 10% per annum – 36.5 hours per week, (including weekends – more hours available) – Term time only, plus 2 weeks* or 15 hours per week part-time pro-rata.

As part of the childcare teams, these roles involve providing care and support to the children and young people mornings, evenings and weekends. No experience required, full training will be given.

WAKING NIGHT ATTENDANTS

£18,070 - £20,138 plus 1/3 per annum – 36.75 hours per week (including weekends) – Term time only plus 2 weeks* and 52 week staff required.

This role involves remaining awake in order to be responsible for the supervision and care of our young people at night, particularly ensuring that night time routines follow pre-agreed strategies and procedures.

Waking Night Attendant - Job Description 

 

PREMISES OFFICER

£23,398 - £24,964 – 37 hours per week. All year round

Responsible for the maintenance, security and safety of the site. Working as part of the Maintenance Team, this role involves assisting in moving furniture, painting and decorating, operating machinery and being aware of Health and Safety responsibilities.
